3 Face
The act
What you’re likely to notice first is that 3 Face can sound bigger than a trio, with vocalist and keyboardist Nicholette C out front and two Perth session musicians filling things out around her. The song list draws on R&B and soul favourites as well as pop, so the feel can stay easy during canapes and then shift into something looser and more dance led later in the wedding. They’re described as a group that reads the room, which matters if you want one act that can adjust its energy instead of pushing the same mood all night. Based in Perth, WA, they have the compact set-up of three performers but aim for the weight of a fuller band. A smart pick for a couple who want soulful songs and pop recognisability without taking up the whole room.
