THE SUGARFOOT RAMBLERS
About
Melbourne traditional jazz band “The Sugarfoot Ramblers” is a group of young professional musicians from Melbourne who have studied and played contemporary jazz styles, but also share a love of performing traditional jazz music.
Band members Travis Woods and Daniel Berry spent some time in New Orleans and decided to form the group to explore the classic traditional jazz repertoire.
The Sugarfoot Ramblers are:

Daniel Berry (drums)
The Sugarfoot Ramblers perform around town on a regular basis and have performed at events such as the Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Stonnington Jazz Festival, Bellingen Jazz Festival and venues such as Bennett’s Lane Jazz Club, The Paris Cat and Uptown Jazz Cafe.
Travis says, “We all love the music of Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Duke Ellington and Jelly Roll Morton, as well as local legends and personal heroes, The Red Onions and The Hoodangers. So that’s the music we enjoy playing in this band.”
The Sugarfoot Ramblers are available to perform either instrumental jazz or with vocals depending the the clients requirements.
Available for corporate events, weddings, themed events, private parties, special occasions, venue bookings, festivals etc…
